Winter Wellness Retreat

A day to ground, centre, and find balance again.

🕯️

A slow, spacious winter day designed to help you step out of everyday life and properly rest.

This retreat is about being supported, moving your body, and giving your nervous system the chance to settle, without needing to fix or improve anything.

Saturday 31 January
10.00 - 5.30 pm
In person in Millennium Yoga London studio, SE London

This is for you if…

🕯️ You feel tired, scattered, or pulled in too many directions, and you are craving a day where you do not have to think, organise, or make decisions.
🕯️ You know your body and nervous system need care and rest, but you struggle to give yourself uninterrupted time to truly slow down.
🕯️ Your energy feels heavy and flat right now, and you would love to feel more steady, present, and settled in yourself.
🕯️ You enjoy yoga, somatic practices, or restorative work, but you want a longer, more immersive experience that allows you to properly land in your body and reset.
🕯️ You are longing for a sense of being held and guided through a day, so you can return to everyday life feeling clearer, calmer, and more at home in yourself.

What if this Winter felt different?

What if you did not have to decide everything on your own for a day?

You already carry a lot. This retreat gives you time and space where you do not need to organise, decide, or keep going. You are guided through the day, supported in your body, and given permission to slow down without guilt.

🕯️

What if your days felt calmer, not heavier?

Instead of the usual winter push to keep up, we teach your nervous system to let go and the body to soften. As tension drops, breathing deepens, and the pace slows down. You feel more present, more steady, and less pulled in too many directions.

🕯️

What if you left feeling more grounded in your everyday life?

Not changed, not fixed, not transformed into someone new. Simply more at home in yourself. More connected to where you are right now, with a sense of energy returning, and a clearer, calmer way of meeting your everyday life as it is.

🕯️

If you are finding yourself nodding along to all this, you are not alone…

By this point in winter, most people are simply tired. Deeply tired and worn down. You know you want things to feel lighter and more under control, but there is also that voice asking: “Is that actually possible with the life I am living right now?”

You have been holding it all together for too long, without enough space to properly rest, and part of you worries that if you let go, everything will unravel.

This day is an invitation to trust that it is safe to pause and let yourself be guided for a while. Not to be told what to do, and not to change who you are, but to be given time to slow down. When you stop rushing, and let the nervous system settle, something inside you softens. You start to feel more present, more steady, and more at ease in yourself.

This retreat is here to remind you that you do not need to push or overhaul your life to feel better. Sometimes what we need most is a space to just be, and a space to rest. Then we are ready to show up as our full vibrant selves again.

Which is why I am really happy to introduce:

Winter Wellness Retreat

A full day away from the business of everyday life, where you are taken care of from the moment you arrive until the moment you leave. This retreat is about slowing down, moving your body, resting deeply, and giving yourself the kind of care that is hard to access in daily life.

The day weaves together yoga, somatic movement, myofascial release, breathwork, essential oils, restorative practices, and yoga nidra. The pace gradually softens as the day unfolds, allowing your body and nervous system to settle naturally.

A small group. Warm tea waiting when you arrive. Soft lighting, blankets, props, and everything prepared for you, so all you need to do is turn up and let yourself be guided.

Here is what you will get when you join:

01

Carefully guided day

for yourself

From the moment you arrive, the day is held for you. The pace is unhurried and intentional, so you do not need to think about what is next or manage your energy. You are guided through the day in a way that allows you to arrive fully and gradually settle.

Value: held space, presence, feeling supported

02

Morning practices to warm and release the body

The morning focuses on yoga, somatic movement, and myofascial release to gently warm the body, unwind tension, and bring you into physical presence. The practices are accessible, adaptable, and designed to meet you where you are. This practice is not about striving but rather about caring.

Value: grounding, mobility, embodied awareness

03

Time to pause and

be nourished

Food and rest are an integral part of the day. You will be nourished with seasonal, warming food, with space to eat slowly, connect with others if you wish, or take quiet time to yourself. A grace break after lunch allows the body to digest and reset before the afternoon session.

Value: sustenance, nervous system support

04

Afternoon restorative

practices for deep rest

As the day moves on, the focus shifts toward slowing down. Restorative practices and a delicious yoga nidra invite deep rest and integration, allowing the body and nervous system to soften and absorb the day.

Value: deep rest, settling, integration

05

Essential oils rituals

Essential oils are woven through the day in a simple, grounded way. They support the practices, help the body settle, and give the nervous system something tangible to respond to. The oils are used thoughtfully, not as an extra, and form a big part of teh experience.
Value: sensory anchoring, the healing power of essential oils

06

Small intimate setting,

cosy studio

This retreat takes place in a small group, allowing for a calm, personal atmosphere where you can relax into the experience without pressure to perform or share.

This retreat offers something that is hard to measure, but more important than ever in our fast moving tech-y world:

🕯️Time to slow down without interruption.
🕯️ Being guided and taken care of for a full day.
🕯️ Practices that support your body and nervous system.
🕯️ Space to rest properly and let tension melt away.
🕯️ The relief of not having to take care of everything on your own.

This is not about adding another class, workshop, or task to your life. It is about stepping out of daily demands and giving yourself the kind of care that allows you to feel more grounded, centred, and steady again.

You are not here to fix yourself or improve anything.

You are here to slow down, let your body settle, and give yourself the space to come back to yourself, so that everyday life feels steadier and more within your control again.

I have done several yoga retreats/classes however the way Blanka approaches her teaching is quite unique. Additionally to nourishing the body with wonderful  practices, the use of pure essential oils in her restorative classes introduced me to a new level of "presence", creating almost a sacred environment where all tensions/barriers could be released. It is almost a journey towards the discovery of  the inner side of yourself!

— Dr Silvia Ragno, London, UK

Thank you so much for the retreat yesterday [online]. I really enjoyed it! After restorative I went straight to bed and listened to your yoga nidra.....I slept well! Already looking forward to the next one!

If I manage to get back to the UK this Summer I will be getting some of those oils to bring back with me. They sounded soooo good!

— Jude Boyd, Bratislava, Slovakia

"I have attended many of Blanka's retreats in the past and am so happy that she is offering another one.

Being in one of Blanka's retreats  takes me to a different space within, a more tender, compassionate and gentle space where I breathe more deeply and let go. Let go of trying and self criticism, of indecision and effort. I leave feeling like I'm aligned within and at peace with the world, in spite of the suffering and strife that exists here. I feel untroubled, unhurried and at ease.

I cannot recommend her retreats highly enough."

— Sarah, London

“This is absolutely amazing. I honestly thought I was signing up for a dusty church hall and a bowl of boring lentils, and instead it feels like such a luxury. The practices are beautiful, the food is fantastic, and the energy of the group is something else. I did not expect to feel this looked after.”

— Tereza P.B., Munich, Germany

Still on the fence about it?

A note from me

I cannot promise a specific outcome, because everyone arrives with their own body, story, and needs. What I can promise is that this day will be carefully planned, thoughtfully guided, and created with genuine care.

You will be offered time, support, and practices that work with your body and nervous system, and space to slow down without pressure.

If you arrive open and willing to take the day as it comes, you are likely to leave feeling more grounded, resourced , and steadier in a way that can spill into your everyday life.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need prior experience with yoga or somatic movement to attend?

No. You do not need any prior experience. If you are a complete beginner and have never done yoga or somatic movement before, this retreat is still for you. Everything is clearly guided, and the focus is on caring for the nervous system rather than pushing the body into challenging shapes.

I am confident that everyone will be able to follow and take part in a way that feels appropriate for them.

What sort of food will be served, and can you cater to dietary needs?

All food will be seasonal, warming, vegan, and gluten-free. This includes lunch, snacks, and a sweet closing treat.

If you have additional dietary needs or allergies, please let me know in advance and I will do my best to accommodate them.

What should I bring with me for the day?

If you have your own mat, props, or anything else you like to use, you are welcome to bring them. However, you do not have to bring anything at all. Everything you need will be set up for you in the studio (the mats are prana eco mats so no offgassing).

Water and glasses are provided. If you prefer to have your own water bottle with you, that can be useful.

Can I come on my own, or do I need to bring a friend?

It is absolutely fine to come on your own. Most people do. The group that gathers tends to come together very naturally, and people usually get on well. You may even make a new friend.

That said, you are very welcome to bring a friend if you would like. Sharing a day like this with someone you already know can add a sense of comfort and support.

Can I use my phone during the retreat?

I will respectfully ask that phones are switched off and ideally left outside the room. This is out of consideration for everyone in the space, so people can properly let go and rest. It will also support you in fully switching off for the day.

Of course, life happens. If you need to check your phone, please do so very discreetly, with the phone on silent and no vibration, so there is no risk of disturbing others.

Will there be any support after the retreat?

This retreat is complete in itself. If you find that you would like ongoing support with rest afterwards, I will be offering an online series called Rest With Me shortly after the retreat.

This includes guided practices and optional WhatsApp group support for those who wish to continue exploring rest in daily life. There is no obligation, it is simply an invitation.
